Terms of Service

Last updated: 19 September 2026

Short version. Use the API to make social preview images. Stay inside your monthly quota, don't abuse the service or resell it as-is, and you keep full rights to the images you generate. Paid plans are month-to-month and you can cancel anytime.

1. The service

oganvil provides an HTTP API that renders 1200×630 Open Graph images (PNG or SVG) from parameters you supply. The service runs on Cloudflare's edge network and is offered on a free plan and on paid monthly plans.

2. Accounts and API keys

You can use the anonymous tier without an account (10 renders per day per IP address). A free account issues an API key by email. Paid plans are purchased through Stripe and are tied to the email address used at checkout. You are responsible for keeping your API key confidential; requests made with your key count against your quota. Tell us promptly if you believe your key has leaked.

3. Plans, quotas and billing

PlanPriceMonthly allowance
Anonymous$010 renders/day per IP address
Free$050 unique images/month (no card required)
Starter$5/month500 unique images/month
Pro$29/month5,000 unique images/month

Uniqueness. An image is counted once per distinct set of visual inputs (title + tag + format). Requests for an image identical to one already rendered are served from cache and are never billed twice, including repeat views by social platforms and crawlers.

Overage. When you reach your monthly allowance the API returns HTTP 429 with your current usage rather than charging you more. You can upgrade at any time. Counter periods run on the 1st of each month (UTC).

Payment. Payments are handled by Stripe. Paid plans renew automatically each month until cancelled. Cancelling stops future renewals and your account drops to the free tier at the end of the paid period; no further charges are made. We may change plan prices in the future, but only with notice, and never retroactively for a period already paid.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to: circumvent quotas or rate limits; probe, overload or interfere with the service; use it to generate unlawful, infringing, hateful or deceptive content; resell or rebrand the API itself as your own product (using it inside your own application or service is expressly allowed); or use it in a way that violates applicable law.

5. Your content and your images

You keep all rights to the text you submit and to the images you generate. You are responsible for having the rights to any text you send. We claim no ownership over your renders and do not use them to train models. You grant us only the limited permission needed to render, cache and deliver the images you request.

6. Availability

We aim for high availability but the service is provided as is, without a service-level agreement. Maintenance, upstream provider incidents or abuse mitigation may interrupt it. We may add, change or retire features; if we discontinue a paid plan we will not charge you for a period we cannot serve.

7. Disclaimer and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, nor for lost profits or lost data. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.

8. Termination

You may stop using the service and cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that abuses the service, presents a security risk, or breaches these terms; where practical we will warn you first and, if you have prepaid, refund the unused portion.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; the date at the top will change and material changes will be noted. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
